One of TCA’s Favorite events. Each year for the past 20+ years TCA corvettes lead the Universal City Veterans Day Parade. Last few years we had between 25 - 30 corvettes—hope we can get at least this number again—no maximum limit. The 51st Universal City Veterans Parade is the oldest continuous Veterans Parade in the San Antonio area and the City is proud to honor veterans of all United States wars. <br />This parade has been host to more than 40 groups participating in the parade, including various military groups, police &amp; fire departments, schools, floats, marching bands, horses, and local businesses and organizations. The viewing stand will be located in the Randolph Plaza Shopping Center parking lot but spectators are welcome to gather all along the Pat Booker Road route to enjoy the parade.<br />TCA corvettes will gather at Biff Buzby’s Burgers Parking lot at 9:00AM Saturday, November 5. Driver’s meeting at 9:20AM and TCA members, Bill &amp; Gloria Scrivner will meet TCA corvettes in the Coronado Village Shopping Center Parking lot to form up our TCA Vettes for the Parade. Please plan to bring decorations for your car and bring candies etc. to throw out to the kids lining the Par Booker route. <br />Rick Creekmore will escort 6 TCA corvettes designated to drive the Grand Marshall and the other DVs which will kick off the parade.
