Event details--Come join your fellow TCA enthusiasts for a delightful pre-holiday season road trip through the East Texas Piney Woods countryside as we travel to historic Nacogdoches, Texas. Nacogdoches is the first official town in Texas, and known today as the oldest city in Texas. We will gather at Buc-ees, New Braunfels on Tuesday, November 15th at 9:30AM, driver's meeting at 9:45AM, and depart at 10AM. We'll have lunch in the Bastrop area and then continue on to Nacogdoches, arriving at the lovely historic Fredonia Hotel around 4PM. Wednesday, November 16th will be a day to relax, enjoy, and explore the Nacogdoches area. All meals are available at the Fredonia Hotel restaurant; "The 1st City Cafe," or at other restaurants and cafés in the area. The hotel's cocktail lounge, "Nine Flags Bar and Grill" is a popular local gathering spot for lively and enjoyable conversation. On Thursday, November 17th a 10AM departure is planned for those who would like to travel home as a group, with a mid-day lunch stop along the way. Or you can choose to return home on your own schedule. If you have any questions please contact Daryl Higgins TCA-OAL at: dhiggins8415@gmail.com Or call 830-708-5889
