Also since 2000, the primary car show benefactor is St. Jude’s Ranch for Children – Texas (SJRC). SJRC Texas cares for children and families who have been affected by trauma, abuse and neglect. They provide a safe haven and offer help and hope on their journey of healing.

In 2006, the TCA Car Show became the only Fiesta sanctioned event outside the city limits of San Antonio.  This year, 2020, we celebrate our 15th year as part of the Fiesta – San Antonio activities.  Fiesta San Antonio started in 1891 as a one-parade event as a way to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. It has evolved into one of this nation’s premier festivals.  Fiesta has grown into a celebration of San Antonio’s rich and diverse cultures.

The Texas Corvette Association (TCA) was founded in 1979 by Craig L. Main and William H. Clower.  In 2020 we celebrate our 28th annual car show event. Our first car show in this series was held in October, 1993, at Rooty's Root Beer stand on I410 near the airport, organized by long-term member Robert Downs. The TCA now has a 21-year history of holding our car show in the beautiful town of Boerne, Texas  along the “Hill Country Mile” and routinely draws over 350 entrants across more than 30 car classes. Folks come from all over Texas and even from other parts of the country to participate in our show.

FIESTA SAN ANTONIO and FIESTA MEDALS

The TCA Car Show is the only Fiesta sanctioned event outside the city limits of San Antonio.  This year, 2020, we celebrate our 14h year as part of the Fiesta – San Antonio activities.  Fiesta San Antonio started in 1891 as a one-parade event as a way to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Because of our relationship with Fiesta San Antonio, the TCA produces a Fiesta Medal each year.  Each year, the Chairman of the Car Show Committee’s car is featured on our medal.  You can see our first 11 years of medals on our TCA Fiesta Medals page.
