SJRC Texas is a nationally accredited nonprofit organization that provides healing, hope, and a home to children and families. The nonprofit recently celebrated their 40-year anniversary. Since 1983, SJRC Texas has served more than 70,000 of the state’s most vulnerable children. SJRC Texas and their Belong Division offer an array of premier continuum of care programs such as prevention and family engagement services, emergency placement, foster care and adoption services, case management, and support services for kinship families. Through the success of its unparalleled programs, Belong serves as the lead provider for Community-Based Care in Region 8b (the 27 rural counties surrounding Bexar County) and is responsible for placement and case management of more than 1100 youth in the child welfare system.
