About this event
On Monday, July 10, we will meet in the Boerne Walmart parking lot for the Driver's Meeting (8:45 am) and then depart for Big Spring at 9 am. Tuesday is the drive to Canyon, Texas with a visit to the Panhandle -Plains Historical Museum and to see the outdoor musical TEXAS in the Palo Duro Canyon. The cost of a VIP package is $87 per person, which provides admission to the Museum, center section seating for the play, preferred parking, dinner, backstage tour, tote bag, and a commemorative tumbler filled with your first non-alcoholic beverage. Wednesday includes a short drive to Amarillo to visit the Cadillac ranch and have dinner at the Big Texan. Thursday, we'll drive to Shamrock which is on Route 66 for lunch and then on to Wellington to see the Classic Car Salvage Yard, and to Sweetwater. Friday is the return drive home at your leisure.
