Painted Churches in Texas
Our meeting place is yet to be determined, but we will plan on meeting at 7:45 am for a drivers' meeting with departure to Schulenburg at 8 am. We begin our tour at 10:00 am with a guided tour of 4 painted churches all built in the late 19th and early 20th century. Lunch is included at a local restaurant, Oakridge Smokehouse. They serve a buffet of American and German items. As usual, once the tour is over everyone is welcome to return home at their own pace and route. The cost will be $36 for an individual or $67 for a couple. If you are coming as a couple, please register only one person as the fee is set to cover two people. If you are coming as an individual, plan on paying Lyn directly. The fee will cover the tour guide and meal.
