The Lone Star Corvette Club of Dallas hosted their car show the weekend of 20-22 May. Several of the TCA members joined in the weekend activities. We had a few winners in the car show as well. Linton and Jan Savage won an award, Don Specht and Linda Specht both won awards for their cars.
The weekend included a Friday evening BBQ, a fun run through the countryside with police escort, and movie night out on Texas Motor Speedway track. The Saturday car show was held under the grandstand, so we were out of the Texas heat and no rain! Sunday topper was the chance to drive our cars on the Motor Speedway. We got three laps at a time but could re-queue and go as many times as we wanted until 3:00pm cutoff. Below are links to a couple videos and photo albums of the events.
